Done for Wowxwow exhibition “WOW² (Volume IX)”, September 2025

Note: the original is only 21 x 21 cm. I found myself often using a magnifying glass - even more frequently than usual. Almost every millimeter of this drawing is modulated, with hundreds of tiny cracks, hairs, cloth damage, runes… 👀

Gurdrigh the Bog Dweller is a gnome summoner of considerable power and a thoroughly chaotic nature. Whether the grotesque entourage that follows in his wake are creatures of flesh and bog-rot or simply a Fata Morgana preying on the fears of the beholder, no one can say for sure. The terror they inspire, however, is all too real - a lesson learned swiftly by any fool who treads on his toes.

Technical details: B2 - B6 pencils on Fabriano 140 lbs hot press 25% cotton Acid free paper, fixed using Winsor & Newton Professional fixative.
