Robot Gardener

I did this one for the Character Design References challenge - August 2023. (See https://characterdesignreferences.com/winners-of-the-character-design-challenge).

With this one, I'm getting back into the digital illustration - it's done with Procreate on an iPad.

I usually paint bulky characters, as it gives you more opportunity to work on details, but here on purpose, I wanted to go with a skinny character. I still tried to apply as much as possible detailing to the available surface.

The multi-handed idea is inspired by Indian deities, and it was fitting to give him a meditative appearance. He has Hermes-like winged ears just to spice it up a bit.
