Gradoo the Giant

Watercolours are one of my favourite techniques. This one is done for the Character Design References challenge - I enjoy doing these and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in art/illustration/character design (characterdesignreferences.com/).

The theme was "Living Buildings" (Challenge #92). This idea was of a Giant who collects and incorporates houses into himself. He is anyway made partially of building-like substances. To add some other materials with robustness, his legs are metallic.

He is of a benevolent nature - so the idea is that he collects endangered or abandoned houses and forms new living communities which he carries around.
