The Gate

This one was done after reading a lot of Lovecraft (one of my favourite writers) - It is simply a traditional ink on paper. I like to do this kind of b/w. I'll post more soon.

This is not a scene directly from the Necronomicon - it's a vision of a Megalithic gate, possibly to provide a passage to another world or a hidden dimension.

The gate itself is crumbling or being constructed from bits - however you like it; The idea is that it's both fragile and robust, with magical energy both destroying it and holding it together.

Even though the scene is slightly eerie it's much less horror-ish than Lovecraft - I wanted it to be less of a cosmic terror and more of a fantasy realm type thing.
